Understanding your SigmaMD app is crucial to get the most out of your healthcare experience. Two of the most essential sections of the app are the Visit Chat and Visit Details screens. Here's a breakdown of each:
1. The Visit Chat Screen
When you enter the Visit Chat, it's your direct communication line with your clinician:
- Types of Messages: The screen contains various types of messages, including:
- Automated messages (system-generated).
- Messages you send to your clinician.
- Messages your clinician sends to you.
- Distinguishing Messages: Your messages are color-coded differently from those of the clinician and system. This distinction makes it easy to identify who said what.
- Actionable Messages: Certain system-generated messages are actionable, meaning they serve as buttons prompting you to take specific actions. These might relate to clinician-initiated lab orders, prescriptions, or shared patient education content.
- Tapping on these action buttons will direct you to the same destinations as the three-dot icon located at the top right of the screen, which leads to the Visit Details.
2. The Visit Details Screens
When you click on the three-dot icon, you enter a hub with detailed sections:
- Prescriptions: This section can have:
- Cards prompting pharmacy selection.
- Cards showing completed prescriptions.
- Labs: Here, you might find:
- Lab orders that are pending payment.
- Completed lab orders.
- Insights: This is a knowledge base where you can find all the patient education articles and videos that your clinician has shared with you.
- Clinical Notes: This section provides a transparent look at the clinical notes your clinician has taken during your visits.
SigmaMD has designed these screens to provide an intuitive and comprehensive healthcare experience, ensuring all the information you need is right at your fingertips.
